The REBOUND Online Repository is Now Live!

The REBOUND Online Repository is Now Live!

We are pleased to announce that the REBOUND Circular Economy Repository is now fully operational and available through the project’s official website.

As part of the Erasmus+ Sport initiative, this open-access portal provides a continuously updated database of valuable resources and examples promoting sustainability and circular economy in sports.

Why a Circular Economy Repository for Sport?

The REBOUND project aims to support basketball clubs and the wider sports community in adopting sustainable methods that reduce waste, reuse materials, and promote environmental responsibility.
Through this initiative, we organise a repository of open, accessible, and adaptable artefacts (OERs) — a digital space designed to gather, share, and exchange knowledge, materials, and tools developed or identified within the project.

The online repository serves as a one-stop portal for guidance and advice on the application of circular economy methods and procedures in the sports sector.

What You Will Find in the REBOUND Repository

The platform is structured around five thematic categories, offering practical knowledge, tools, and inspiration:

  • Education & Awareness – Educational resources, campaigns, and materials that raise awareness and promote sustainable behavior in sports.
  • Waste Prevention and Reuse – Good practices and ideas for preventing waste and reusing sports equipment and materials.
  • Sustainable Sport Activities and Events – Examples of environmentally responsible sporting events and community initiatives that combine fun with sustainability.
  • Sustainable Management of Equipment and Materials – Practical guides and tools for managing, repairing, and recycling sports equipment more efficiently.
  • Digital Transformation & Paper Reduction – Digital solutions that streamline processes, reduce paper use, and improve sustainability in sport organizations.

Who Can Benefit from the Repository?

The REBOUND Online Repository is designed for:

  • Basketball clubs and sports organizations wishing to adopt greener management practices.
  • Coaches, trainers, and athletes interested in understanding how to integrate circular economy ideas in their daily routines.
  • Educators, local authorities, and sport event organizers seeking practical examples and tools for sustainable sport.
  • The wider community eager to explore and contribute to a more responsible sports culture.
