“Let’s Dribble Through the City” – Sport and Community at the 76th Grape Festival

During the 76th Grape Festival in Borgomanero (5–14 September 2025), the town center came alive with “Let’s Dribble Through the City”, an initiative that transformed the streets into an open-air playground. Families and children dribbled basketballs together, filling the city with energy, joy, and a strong sense of community.

The event was organized by College in collaboration with our partner ASD Borgomanero Sporting Club, Pro Loco, and Baskin Ciuff. It showcased the power of sport to bring people together, promoting values of inclusion, cooperation, and participation.

The day culminated with the presentation of the REBOUND Erasmus+ Sport project, which emphasizes the role of circular economy in basketball and sport more broadly. From the responsible use of resources and the reuse of sports materials to the creation of collaborative networks, REBOUND promotes a model where clubs become drivers of sustainable growth for their local communities.
