On 12 September 2025, the REBOUND consortium held its 6th online coordination meeting, gathering partners from Greece, Spain, and Italy to coordinate the next steps of the project.
The meeting focused on important milestones and upcoming actions:
- The REBOUND Manual has been officially submitted. It will soon be available on the project’s website in four languages: English, Greek, Spanish, and Italian. This key deliverable provides guidance and practical recommendations for integrating circular economy principles into basketball.
- The Online Repository is being finalized and will soon be launched on the website. It will serve as a growing digital library of articles, tools, and good practices that sports clubs can use to adopt more sustainable approaches.
- Looking ahead, the consortium is preparing Train the Trainer seminars to be held in each partner country (Greece, Spain, Italy). These workshops will engage local clubs and stakeholders, equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to put circular economy into practice in the sports sector.
Through these initiatives, the REBOUND project continues to build capacity, provide practical resources, and inspire greener and more sustainable basketball communities.
