2nd Online Meeting: Finalizing the Good Practices Report and Planning Ahead

On April the 28th, the REBOUND project partners from Greece, Spain, and Italy came together for their 2nd online coordination meeting. The virtual meeting provided a valuable opportunity to review progress, consolidate outcomes, and plan the next phases of the Erasmus+ Sport project.

One of the key achievements discussed was the finalization of the Good Practices Report. This report gathers real-life examples of how basketball clubs and organizations are already integrating circular economy principles into their daily operations. From reusing equipment to managing waste more effectively, these practices offer practical inspiration and guidance for other clubs wishing to become more sustainable.

The report will soon be available through our website as a free resource, supporting knowledge-sharing across the European sports community.

The meeting also focused on planning the upcoming activities of the project, including:

  • Development of training materials for sports professionals, club managers, and young athletes
  • Organization of local awareness events and workshops
  • Strengthening communication and dissemination to engage a broader audience around sustainability in basketball

As REBOUND moves forward, the project team remains committed to raising awareness and building capacity in the field of circular economy and sports. Through collaboration, education, and shared experience, we aim to contribute to a greener future for basketball and beyond.
