REBOUND Partner ASD Borgomanero Organises Swap Party Promoting Circular Economy

On February 13th, 2026, ASD Borgomanero organized a Swap Party focused on sustainable fashion and circular practices. The event was conceived as an open initiative aimed at promoting reuse, environmental awareness, and social engagement through the exchange of clothing and accessories.

The event was open to the entire local community, with citizens actively invited to participate. It also saw the presence of local political representatives and members of the third sector network, highlighting the strong institutional and civic interest in sustainability-related initiatives.

Given the clear connection between sustainability, education, and community engagement, and considering the link between environmental responsibility and sport, the partner organization used this opportunity to further disseminate the principles of the REBOUND project.

Building on a previous initiative carried out in September, the event also aimed to promote the circular economy approach within the sports sector, present REBOUND as a model for integrating sustainability into grassroots basketball clubs, strengthen dialogue between environment, school, and sport, and raise awareness among young people and families about sustainable practices applicable both in daily life and within sports organizations.

Participation in the Swap Party reinforced the idea that circular economy principles can effectively connect education, civic engagement, and sport, fostering a shared culture of environmental responsibility at the local level.
