On October 13, 2025, the REBOUND partners held their 7th online coordination meeting to discuss progress and upcoming actions for the project.
The partners announced the finalization of the REBOUND educational material, developed to equip basketball clubs with the knowledge and tools to apply circular economy practices. The material will soon be available in English, Greek, Spanish, and Italian through the project website.
They also confirmed that the REBOUND Online Repository is ready and will be launched within the week. The Repository will serve as a digital platform offering materials, articles, and good practices related to circular economy in sport — along with guidance and advice for implementing sustainable methods and procedures, including all resources, manuals, and tools developed within the project.
Finally, partners discussed the upcoming “Train the Trainer” seminars, where one seminar will be organized by each partner. These educational sessions will engage staff and athletes of all ages from basketball clubs, offering information on the main aspects to be covered during the training.
Through these activities, REBOUND continues to promote sustainability and circular economy principles across the basketball community in Europe.
